ERISAhelpcenter is a publication of ERISAssist. In these Terms, we, us, and our refer to ERISAssist. These Terms cover use of erisahelpcenter.com, its public content, and this publication's newsletter.

Purpose and responsibility

ERISAhelpcenter serves professionals who work with U.S. retirement plans and the laws, regulations, and practices affecting those plans. Our website and newsletter provide general information and links; they do not provide individualized legal, tax, investment, fiduciary, or plan-administration advice.

Reading the publication, subscribing, or contacting us does not by itself create a professional engagement or fiduciary relationship. Using the resources does not by itself transfer a plan sponsor's, fiduciary's, administrator's, or service provider's responsibilities to us. These Terms do not amend a separate professional-services or application agreement.

Accuracy and AI assisted content

Information may contain errors, omit details, or become outdated. Selected coverage is not a complete statement of every requirement or deadline. Confirm material facts against the linked primary sources and obtain advice appropriate to the circumstances before acting.

Newsletter choices

A subscription requests this publication's newsletter, which may include clearly labeled sponsorships or advertising and identified affiliated promotions. It does not automatically enroll you in another publication or separate promotional email program.

Optional role, specialty, and plan-type selections do not currently personalize delivery. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter. Our Privacy Policy explains subscription information, unsubscribe choices, and retention.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, or limits any responsibility or right that applicable law does not permit us to limit.

Governing law

Alabama law and applicable United States federal law govern these Terms, without applying conflict-of-laws rules that would select another jurisdiction's law. This provision does not select a particular court or venue and does not exclude protections that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.

Updates and other provisions

We may revise these Terms by posting the updated version and revising the date above. Any additional notice or agreement required by applicable law will be provided. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information. A revision to these Terms does not expand your newsletter or promotional-email subscription choices.
